A silver pocket-watch

A silver pocket-watch… I have a story that I just have to share… AS crazy or made up as it may sound - It is indeed, the truth. With GOD, there are “NO” coincidences. For my 57th birthday, my Wife got me a pocket-watch. A ‘silver’ one, with a silver chain. (silver by the way ), is associated with “redemption” in the Bible. On the front of it, she had it engraved. It says; “Revelation 10:6 ~ I love you Marc.” Upon receiving it, I set the watch to the proper ‘time’ And put it in my pocket. The next ‘time’ I opened it to see what ‘time’ it was, The watch had STOPPED working. When I told her it didn’t work, she became upset About it’s “non-functioning” condition. She said; “I will send it back right away and get it fixed”. I said; “NO” !! I love it exactly the way it is ! Here’s why... The watch is (‘stuck’). It is set (permanently) on six minutes after ten. Remember, the words “Revelation 10:6” [are] engraved on the watch case. Do any of you happen to know exactly ‘what’ Revelation 10:6 just so happens to say? I’ll set it up with verse 5 and then verse 6 will explain itself ! Revelation 10:5 - (6)...

5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,

6And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be [time no longer]: “WHAT” ?!? Are you Kidding me !? And to this day, the watch does not work.

“How bizarre is that”? GOD veils HIS glory, which is too great for mortal eyes to behold; and throws a veil upon HIS dispensations. A rainbow is upon HIS head; our LORD is always mindful of his covenant. His terrible commanding voice, was echoed by seven thunders; solemn and terrible ways of discovering the mind of GOD. We know not the subjects of the seven thunders, nor the (reasons) for [suppressing] them. There are great events in history, perhaps relating to the Christian church, which are not noticed in open prophecy. The final salvation of the righteous, and the final success of true religion on earth, are engaged by the unfailing word of the LORD. Though the (‘time’) may not be yet, it cannot be far distant. Soon and Very soon, as to us, time will be, no more; But if we are believers, a happy eternity will follow: we shall from heaven, behold and rejoice in the triumphs of CHRIST, and HIS cause on earth.
